🏎️ Driving Force Workshop - What a day!

Last week, a selection of Year 8 and Year 9 students joined Mrs Brundish and Mr Hadler at ExCeL London for a Driving Force Workshop, where they got behind-the-scenes access to the world of Formula E.
From building model cars and solving engineering challenges to exploring the pit lane, interviewing a driver and watching the practice session live, our students experienced the fast-paced world of motorsport first-hand.

An unforgettable opportunity that showcased the many exciting careers within Formula E! 🏁

What an incredible week it has been for our school community!
From the Wellbeing & Wellness Fair, an exciting Staff vs Students Rounders Match that ended in a draw , and the chance to sponge teachers in the stocks, to a lively Silent Disco, energetic Just Dance
sessions, Pink & Blue Day, the Treasure Hunt, Guess the Number of Sweets in the Jar, and Name the
Squishy competition, Krispy Kreme doughnuts, there has been something for everyone to enjoy.

💚 💛 House Championship Winners - Coventry!💛

Recently, our House Championship Winners’ BBQ took place as a special celebration for the students of Coventry House, who were crowned this year’s House Champions for their outstanding academic achievements and contributions to school life throughout the year.

Students earned house points for a wide range of achievements, including academic progress, positive attitudes to learning, community involvement, representing the school, and many other contributions to the Priory community.

The BBQ was a fantastic opportunity for students and staff to come together and celebrate a successful year of House competition, recognising the hard work, commitment and enthusiasm shown by Coventry students.

Congratulations to everyone in Coventry House on this fantastic achievement! 🟡💛⭐️

Year 7 Celebration Assembly!

What an incredible year it has been for our fantastic Year 7 students! Yesterday, we celebrated a year group that has embraced every opportunity, making excellent academic progress and achieving success both in the classroom and through their contributions to the wider life of our school community.

It was wonderful to recognise so many students with Tutor Star of the Term Awards, Mrs Lister’s Stars of the Year Awards, and Attendance Certificates.

Throughout their first year at Priory, our Year 7 students have shown determination, resilience and a positive attitude to learning. Their academic achievements, growing confidence and commitment to school life have been a joy to celebrate.

We are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished and look forward to seeing them continue to shine in Year 8!

Shrek JR Musical

Our incredible cast and crew delivered fabulous performances filled with stunning singing, fantastic acting, laugh out loud comedy and wonderful teamwork. Every student involved, both on stage and behind the scenes, played a part in making the production so special.

🌟 A special mention to our Year 11 students, many of whom have been involved in school productions throughout their 5 years at The Priory. This year they also took on additional responsibilities with choreography, set design and supporting younger cast members, leaving a lasting legacy for future productions.

👏🌟 Thank you to Mr Sherringham and Mr King for their acting and musical guidance, helping our students shine on stage.

💚 Finally a huge thank you to all our staff who supported the show through front of house, refreshments, behind the scenes or in the audience.

A fantastic example of Priory teamwork, talent and community spirit. Well done to everyone involved!

What an AMAZING opening night for Shrek The Musical Jr!

A truly fabulous evening filled with outstanding talent, energy and confidence. From the opening scene to the final bows, our cast, and backstage crew delivered stunning performances that had the audience laughing, cheering and applauding throughout.

We are incredibly proud of every student involved in bringing this production to life.

Congratulations to the entire Shrek Jr team on a fantastic opening night - we can’t wait to do it all again!

✨Year 11 Prom 2026✨

Last week, our Year 11 students celebrated their Prom at the beautiful Debies Wine Estate, and what a fantastic evening it was!

Students looked absolutely stunning as they arrived dressed to impress and enjoyed a memorable evening with friends and staff. The atmosphere was filled with laughter, celebration, and plenty of special moments as they marked the end of their Priory journey together.

A huge congratulations to the Class of 2026. We are incredibly proud of all you have achieved and wish you every success in the future. Thank you for being such a wonderful year group—we can’t wait to see what comes next for each of you. 🌟

OMG week - Day 2

Day 2 brought the arrival of our climbing wall, and it was a huge hit with pupils throughout lessons, break and lunchtime!

Students embraced the challenge with enthusiasm, showing courage, determination and resilience as they pushed themselves out of their comfort zones and overcame personal fears. Alongside the climbing, pupils took part in a blindfold challenge, relying on teamwork, communication and trust as they guided one another through activities.

Andy and Rob encouraged students to reflect on Bible verses about perseverance, overcoming challenges.

A fantastic day filled with challenge, growth and encouragement!

Celebrating Sporting Success 🚵‍♂️🌟

Congratulations to Eddie (Year 9) and Alfie (Year 10) on an outstanding achievement in the Southern Enduro Mountain Bike Race this weekend.

Competing as a pair, Eddie and Alfie faced a demanding day of racing, tackling five challenging trails each, ranging from 1-2 miles in length. With a steep climb to the start of every trail, the event tested not only their riding ability but also their endurance and determination.

Their individual trail times were combined to produce an overall team result, and the boys rose to the challenge superbly. Riding brilliantly throughout the day and supporting each other every step of the way, they delivered an excellent performance that earned them a well-deserved place on the podium, finishing in 2nd place.

A fantastic achievement and a wonderful example of teamwork, resilience and sporting excellence.

Well done Alfie and Eddie! 👏🎉💚

OMG Week 2026 | Day 1

A brilliant start to Priory’s OMG Week today led by our amazing Student Mission Team and Chaplains
From handing out flyers and enjoying ice lollies in the sunshine, to the energy of sumo wrestling and time for reflection at lunch, it’s been a fantastic launch full of fun, community, and purpose.

A great reminder that even in the middle of a busy day, there’s always space to pause, reflect and connect
