The Great Butterfly Count at Charity Buddy this morning. We counted 40 butterflies in 15 mins!

Found this little guy at the weekend in the open in the Jack and Gill garden! Perhaps he was on his first flight. Put him under some cover nearby so his parents could find him again and a few hours later he was gone. What a cutie!

A wonderful visit yesterday from Wild About Britain raising awareness of our wildlife and endangered species. Connie gave us some amazing information about these beautiful creatures. The children impressed us with their knowledge and understanding about conservation and British wildlife. We truly have a community of nature loving youngsters in our setting!
Thanks to Connie and her crew - Bob the kestrel, Freddie the tawny owl, Snowdrop the hedgehog and Wren a rare smooth snake. We had a great time!

What a great morning we had on Monday visiting Horsham Fire station at Platinum House! Hugely informative and interactive chats hosted by 2 firefighters. We got a great tour of the building, saw all of the kit they wear, got to see all of the fire trucks and the children got to go inside one AND sq**rt a water hose! Great hosts and a great time was had by all. If you get the chance to go, check it out it’s a very impressive place run by equally impressive people.
