Froggetts Farm Flowers Simply stunning dahlias The inspiration for Froggetts Farm Flowers has probably come from two people, CharlotteA and MelB.

Both extraordinarily creative, unique and talented people who I am blessed to have as friends. The first showed me how stunning Dahlias really can be, by growing gorgeous, vibrantly coloured varieties in her garden and then bringing them inside to contrast perfectly in her beautiful Danish home. The second has shown me how wonderful it is to be inspired by beauty and the truth. She amazes me with

how many ways she uses her artistic gifts to do this. Both have an incredible eye for design. So thank you to two of the most creatively inspiring, and strongest, women I know.

Blown away by the chat today…the crew, somehow all dressed in black, turned up, put in some graft and then …over flapjacks, some with raspberries 🙂, ..we discussed property ownership & meaning, capitalism (look out for BlackRock and Vanguard …apparently), fear, lies and corruption in today’s world 🌍…

What holds us back…Stops us even trying at times? Are we exploited, given few choices? Feeling the odds are just too stacked against us?

Who doesn’t want to believe NO!?💪💯

Comparisons can be the thief of joy but would we be wrong if we saw this world as an unfair place where those with the least can be exploited and downtrodden?

Thank you so much Jess for visiting Froggetts Farm 🙏🏽…chatting together, gathering Roses & telling me about Mason and .

Jess is one of those rare even miraculous people who, after suffering life’s greatest cruelty, losing her 14-year-old son Mason to su***de, has then dedicated herself to understand how to help other young people, who may be vulnerable, with their mental health.

Mason’s legacy;
Have places where diverse young adults can meet together, in-person to enjoy themselves and their experiences, whilst feeling accepted and safe.

Youth Led: Decisions made by young people, for young people.

Equipping young people with the skills and confidence to find their voice and connect with their communities.

To identify gaps & improve support systems for mental health by listening to those impacted the most.
To promote awareness su***de prevention, trauma & neurodiversity and to advocate for policy change.

and our faith in nature is here for vulnerable young adults in the community and we 💯 support Mason’s legacy and look forward to working together.

This busy bee 🐝 captures so much of life here…so many happy, flower-filled moments with our volunteers, our customers, our friends, our crazy animals and our first order for our dried flowers (thanks )…& wanted to show you last Sunday’s beautiful seasonal ⛪️ flowers. Hope this give some flavour of what’s been happening here over the last month..& shows how the Dahlias are getting along … the flower still at the heart of it all 💕

We’re here for everyone and it’s been very special having some younger visitors to our flower farm recently. Children’s love of nature is instinctive..just as it should be 🙌🙏🏽🥰. How do we so often lose this connection as we grow older? 🥹

What are the three most important things for growing? Soil, soil and soil. Thank you so much Lloyd, not just a professional Head gardener but dad to one of the wonderful residents, for spending time at the farm and reminding me of what matters most 🙏🏽. Lloyd focused on our Roses, a particular concern last year with Blackspot, explaining the healthier a plant, the less susceptible to stress and disease it is.
Doesn’t this speak volumes to us too? Our environments are fundamental for our healthy growth. Wherever our roots are, we can be adding in the right things and renewing ourselves. And we can always be helping each other do this. 🌱🌳💚🤝🙏🏽

Sweetpea horseshoes, Rose walkways lined with Aliums and Felix at the centre of it all. We have to be inventive as resources aren’t vast here but it does feel this can make you more creative …not brilliant or hugely successful, I quickly add 😬…but there’s a quiet satisfaction when things come together. & always helped by having great people helping - thanks Felix 🙏🏽& Graham, my neighbour, for your bamboo - great support 🤭🙄haha 😂

And now you know why I don’t set myself up as any kind of horticultural expert…😬
And why I, very badly, need more help 🙏🏽

Being honest, it could be going a lot better this year and I need to admit…I’ve taken on too much.
(I told you so’s …please get in line 🫣)

So do you know anyone who can help? Looking for someone experienced for a half to full day most weeks, to manage/grow the flower farm here …then I & Felix, and our wonderful volunteers can help & learn… And then I can also focus on the therapeutic side of our social enterprise ..at the 💚💜🧡🩷🤍of it all 🌱
