Got this Most Lovely Message last Night .. Thank You So Much! .. We are Family!
Hi Mickey, hope you and Debs are well. I just wanted to say a huge ‘thank you’ for all you have done for Hats and Will, maybe without truly realising it! Wills graduated last year from BIMM, not a good time for a musician but he is staying focused, has 2 bands (one cool and one ‘function’) and is waiting for things to improve. The fact he can learn new songs so quickly (and compose) is defo a reflection of Pop Cub days!! Hat has just finished her PGCE - starts teaching post next week. Her Pop Club days and then experience doing vocal coaching with you has been invaluable! ( not to mention looking great on her CV). She has been at Her first placement and was basically put in charge of the school performance. She got rid of songs she knew the kids wouldn’t do well, changed the key to one she knew would work and then worked with them with her usual enthusiasm!(Yr4s) - they even made the headteacher cry with their rendition of ‘The climb’ earlier today.
So huge thanks to you and the Pop Club ethos, and be assured that your influence lasts so much longer than the time they attend. Jo and Mike xx
