At BASEM Conference 2026, Advancing Player Health in the Premier League will explore how research, clinical expertise and policy development come together to support players across academy and first-team football.

The session brings several perspectives to that challenge. Dr Cherrie Daley will consider mental health, wellbeing and interdisciplinary collaboration, while Mr Dominic Townsend will explore how research has contributed to the evolution of head injury protocols and heading regulation in the Premier League.
