Today, I am sorry people but I have chosen to close my doors. After only 4 years of childminding and meeting some lovely families, I have decided to renounce my position. I have had at least 21 children visit over these years ranging from 6 months old to 14 years. We have had lots of ups and downs and engaged in lots of activities but most of all had lots of happy days. I thank all the families that chose me to look after their children, even if they did give me grief and wreck my house...🤣😉 I am venturing into new territory and have chosen to go back to school, teaching. 😜😕 I am confident all the children will make progress with their new school positions and wish them luck in the future. Thanks again to the parents for also putting up with me.. 😉😉😉 # #

Shepards Place Farm Haxey. Not only a farm where they get to find out and handle animals, they've got a new playbarn for the kids. 👍

We made foaming potions using paint and glitter, concocted a cake from scratch using a mug in the microwave. Eventually finishing the money boxes, making more biscuits and decorating with embellishments.

Activities so far:
Nature walk collecting natural artefacts to create a collage. Producing our own Moon Sand. Using paints and other media for mark making. Decorate a money box, pigs and birds. Invent a special perfume potion using simple petals. Building dens with the clothes horse, chairs and blankets. Meanwhile, writing a daily diary of events.

6 weeks holiday, lots of crafts and activities to be done. Exciting times.

Sporting an eccentric Red Nose Day look this morning with the kids. It's got to be done! 😝😜

I was told by a child that I cannot have a job because if I had a job, who would take them to school, pick them up, show them how to read and write,take them out,do painting and art and join in with dressing up?

In keeping with RSPB and bird watch, we created Owls. Hand eye coordination, cutting and sticking, listening to instructions and communicating together. Cardboard, tissue papers, pva, scissors and glue sticks. With help, 3 year olds can produce lovely work. 🦉🦉🦉

Available for January. EYFS spaces, am/pm, or all day. Based in Beckingham, so can pick up from 'Speckled Frogs' .
