A friendly reminder that all Father’s Day Gift Shop forms and payments must be completed by this Friday, 5th June.

This deadline is important as it allows our volunteers to purchase the correct number of gifts and ensure every child who wishes to take part can choose a special surprise for Dad, Grandad, or another important person in their life. 💙👔

If you would like your child to take part in our Father’s Day Gift Shop, please make sure your forms and payments are completed as soon as possible.

Having forms and payments returned promptly helps us know exactly how many gifts we need to purchase, ensuring every child has the opportunity to choose a special surprise for Dad, Grandad, or another important person in their life.

Children will have the opportunity to choose a special gift for their dad, grandad, or another important person in their life 💙

We can’t wait to help the children pick the perfect surprise for Father’s Day! 👔⭐

We are currently overwhelmed with lost property.

The Friends of Hill House uniform shop is overflowing with unnamed clothing, and there is additional lost property filling the shelving in the sports area, with very few items being collected.

If your child is missing an item of clothing, please ask them to visit the Friends uniform shop on Fridays between 8.00 and 9.00am, where we will do our best to help them find it.

Without names in items, it is extremely difficult to return them to their owners.

Please:
• Ensure all clothing is clearly named
• Encourage children to take responsibility and check for missing items
• Ask them to regularly look through the lost property areas

Naming items makes a huge difference and helps us reunite belongings quickly. Thank you for your support.

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our incredible volunteers and the amazing parents who continue to support us every step of the way.

Your time, energy, and dedication make such a difference, and without all of your hard work, we simply wouldn’t have been able to purchase this wonderful new playground for our children.

It’s truly a community effort, and we’re so grateful to each and every one of you for helping make this happen. 💛

🚨 Urgently Needed 🚨

We are currently in urgent need of pre-loved school uniforms.

If you have any good-quality items your children have outgrown, we would be incredibly grateful for donations.

Donations can be dropped off at the school shop, New Court Shelter or Reception on Friday mornings only. Thank you so much for your support 💙

Every Friday, volunteers at Friends of Hill House spend hours sorting through large amounts of unnamed lost property.

This takes significant time and effort — and it’s often avoidable. Children need to take more responsibility for their belongings, and items must be clearly labelled to be returned to them.

Please name all clothing and encourage children to keep track of their things. It makes a big difference and supports our volunteers enormously. 💛
