📢 Another Summer Opening Date! 👕🎒

We’re pleased to let you know that the Friends of Hill House Uniform Shop will be open for an additional date over the summer holidays!

📅 Monday 24th August
🕣 8:30am – 10:00am

So if you still need to get organised for the new school year, pop along and see us! 😊

💙 And don’t forget, we love uniform donations too! If you have any good-quality, clean uniform your children have outgrown, we’d be very grateful for your donations.

A Reminder from Friends of Hill House – Please Name Your Child's Belongings

Every week, our volunteers carefully check every lost item for a name. Sorting through these items takes a significant amount of time.

If an item is unnamed, we photograph it and post it on the school WhatsApp group, where it can then be collected from the uniform shop on Friday mornings.

If an item is clearly named, we place it in the correct class collection bag so it can be returned to its owner quickly and easily.

Please help us by ensuring every item of clothing and every belonging is clearly labelled with your child's name.

Uniform donations are always appreciated! If you have any clean, good-quality school uniform that your child has outgrown, please bring them into the uniform shop or leave at reception.

🎒 Where has this year gone?! 😲

We can't believe we're almost at the end of another school year! Our children have had another fantastic year of growing, learning... and getting taller! That means there's probably some school uniform that's no longer needed.

If you have any pre-loved school uniform that's still in good condition, we'd love to give it a new home.

Although the Summer Fayre has been cancelled due to the hot weather, the Friends of Hill House will be selling Krispy Kreme glazed doughnuts and cold drinks instead!

Due to the high temperatures forecast this week, it has been decided that, for the safety and wellbeing of our children, families, and volunteers, the Summer Fayre has been cancelled.

We know many of you were looking forward to the event, and we are disappointed to have to make this decision. However, the safety of everyone involved must come first.

Join us on Friday 26th June from 3:15pm–5:15pm for an afternoon full of fun, games, treats, stalls, and summer celebrations!

We can't wait to see you all there for what promises to be a fantastic afternoon. 🎈🍦🎪

🎁💙 What a Fantastic Father’s Day Gift Shop! 💙🎁

A huge thank you to all our amazing volunteers, parents, and supporters who helped make our Father’s Day Gift Shop such a great success!

There is something truly special about watching children carefully choose a gift for their dad, grandad, or another important person in their life. The thought that goes into their decisions is wonderful... and sometimes absolutely hilarious! 😂

Some children had no idea what Daddy likes... poor Daddies! 🤣

One child spent a considerable amount of time wondering just how far Daddy could hit a golf ball whilst sitting on the toilet. We hope the gift helps him find out! ⛳🚽

Another child confidently informed us that Daddy had asked for something football-related... let's just say that is not what Daddy is receiving. We can only hope he has a good sense of humour! ⚽😂

A few children seemed to base their choices on the question, "What would I like?" rather than "What would Daddy like?" We suspect some gifts may be borrowed very quickly! 🤭

On the other hand, some children knew exactly what would be perfect and carefully selected gifts that were absolutely spot on.

We even had one child who approached the task like a professional shop assistant, asking all the important questions before making a recommendation. We're considering offering them a position on next year's team! 🛍️⭐

Thank you again to everyone who took part. It was a fun-filled morning full of laughter, thoughtful choices, and some truly priceless comments. We hope all the dads and grandads enjoy their special surprises this Father's Day! 💙
