I may be a day late (whoops) but happy International Nurses Day! And what a way to celebrate it, with our Doctors themed sessions!

This week was jam packed with exciting songs, games, activities and lots of maths! But also full of new medical vocabulary, such as: stethoscope, injection, temperature, bandage, thermometer, and we named many of our body parts.
It was fabulous hearing about the children's experiences of doctors, from ear infections to jabs for a future trip to South America... it's amazing to see how animated the children become from our themes.

I wonder if any of the Number Train children will one day work in the medical profession? 🩺👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

This was so exciting! The children were so excited to see how the chicks had changed since last week. And they were so brave, all having a hold!

One reason I love having a school for a venue is that it gives the children a chance to see a real school in action before they go!
Whether they attend this school or another, they love walking through the echoing hall, being in a classroom, meeting friendly staff, seeing the bigger boys and girls on their way up to lunch, and even just experiencing using school toilets. These things can be daunting when starting a new school, so I hope that by coming to Number Train in a school, it will help them to be excited about school 🥰

Super excited to be bringing Number Train weekly to Little Learners Day Nursery! 🚂
I had such a lovely visit here- they have such amazing grounds and the friendliest staff! The children were amazing and joined in with such enthusiasm. I can't wait to see where our weekly adventures on the Number Train will take us!
