Teaching children and toddlers about Pride and the LGBTQ+ community helps foster kindness, respect, and an understanding that families and people can be different in many ways. Age-appropriate education can encourage empathy, reduce prejudice, and support an inclusive environment where all children feel valued and accepted. By introducing concepts of diversity, fairness, and belonging from an early age, educators and caregivers can help children develop positive social skills and a greater appreciation for the experiences and identities of others.
This weeks activities so far-

Child accident prevention week 2026.
I support child safety.
This week the children have completed a pop quiz regarding safety symbols, colouring & word searches. Only small activities due to times for before and after school clubs. However still information to keep the children safe.
"Child Safety Week is the Child Accident Prevention Trustβs annual community education campaign, acting as a catalyst for thousands of safety conversations and activities UK-wide.
We help families build confidence and skills in managing the real risks to childrenβs safety.
We want all children to have the freedom to grow and learn, safe from serious harm."

πΈππ¦ROAD SAFETY π¦ππΈ
Making prevention possible
Reasons road safety matter-
β’Life saving protection for the future
β’Creating independence on learning how to cross the roads safely
β’Early intervention on road behaviour
β’Learning how to cross pedestrian crossing and other crossing
My sunshines are fully aware of road safety, before and after school we walk hand in hand and together. We stop look and listen, helping one another safely.
