π±π¬ Year 1 and Year 2 have been busy scientists!
In Science, the children have been exploring what plants need to grow by carrying out their own investigations. They changed different variables in their experiments to find out whether plants could survive with and without certain things, such as light. The children made predictions, observed changes, and recorded their findings like real scientists.
They also spent some time outdoors caring for our school plants. The children were delighted to harvest over 40 strawberries, which they enjoyed sharing with their friends at break time. ππ
A fantastic afternoon of learning, investigating, and enjoying the fruits of our hard work!

What a fantastic day our children had on their whole school trip to Austerfield Study Centre! πΏβοΈ
