We are bursting with pride to announce that three of our phenomenally talented students were selected as finalists for the prestigious Artist of the Year 2026 awards at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park!

We are absolutely thrilled to share that yesterday, Mrs. Hughes visited RHS Wisley to receive the prestigious Bees’ Needs Award directly from the DEFRA Minister!

This wonderful recognition is a testament to her incredible, tireless gardening work at Adwick to make our space a beautiful, welcoming haven for pollinators. 🐝✨

Thank you, Mrs. Hughes, for making our world a little greener, brighter, and much more bee-friendly. We couldn't be happier for you! 🎉

What an unforgettable past two days we’ve had!

To celebrate our amazing students graduating from Year 9 into Year 10, we turned up the adventure with some truly epic rewards:
The 55ft Zip Line: Testing bravery and giving students a bird's-eye view of the school!
The Gel Blaster Experience: A high-energy test of agility, speed, and teamwork.

We Care Into the Future- BACK for its 7th year! 🏥✨

Recently, Year 8 students from across Doncaster and Bassetlaw had the opportunity to explore the incredible world of the NHS and wider care sector.

Recognized nationally as a shining example of best practice, the event gave 12 and 13-year-olds a unique, hands-on look at what a rewarding career in health and care can really look like. 🩺💡

The future of healthcare starts right here, and our students smashed it!

☀️ Ready for an unforgettable summer?
This July and August, PGL is bringing that "I can do this" feeling to young people across the country with their Summer Activity Days! 🙌

Through the HAF programme, they are running funded and PAYG activity days for 8–16 year olds at a PGL centre in Doncaster. 🧗‍♂️✨

What’s included in a day?
🎒 3–4 exciting outdoor activities
🧠 1 educational session
🥪 A nutritious lunch

Adwick 2026 World Cup – A Tournament to Remember🏆

With over 100 players taking part and more than 30 supporters, including parents, watching from the sidelines, the event earlier this week showcased teamwork, determination and some outstanding football. 🥅

The Year 9/10 tournament was won by Germany, with Noah P deservedly named Player of the Tournament after a series of impressive performances. 👏🏻

In the Year 7/8 tournament, France were crowned champions, while Fynn H was recognised as the Year 7/8 Player of the Tournament for his exceptional displays throughout the competition. 🙌🏻

Every student involved was a credit to themselves and the school. They competed with enthusiasm, resilience and excellent sportsmanship despite the extremely hot weather. The now world-famous World Cup water breaks proved essential throughout the day and, unlike some famous tournaments, were certainly not booed by the fans!

Thank you- We can’t wait to do it all again next World Cup! 💜

☀️ As the weather heats up, it’s tempting to cool off in rivers, lakes, or reservoirs. But cold water shock can happen to anyone, even strong swimmers.

If you or someone else gets into trouble in the water, remember the life-saving advice to Float to Live:

🔴 Lean back and extend your arms and legs.
🔴 Control your breathing until the initial shock passes.
🔴 Call for help or swim to safety once you are calm.

🚨 If you see someone in difficulty in the water, do not jump in. Call 999 and ask for FIRE.

🎭 OUTWOOD PERFORMANCE OF THE YEAR 2026 🎭
Take a look at our incredible students who took to the stage at CAST last night! 🌟 This year, our performance was inspired by the legendary icon Charlie Chaplin 🎩🎬

It was a long day, but our students were absolute professionals from start to finish and their behavior was a credit to our academy. As always, we received so much positive feedback from staff and students across the other academies, and we could not be prouder of what they produced on that stage! ❤️

Sadly, we weren't the award winners this time around, but we truly believe our students are always up there with the most talented in our trust. We won't let it get us down—we’re already looking forward to coming back fighting next year! 💪💜
