We could not be prouder of our Year 11 students at Journey Independent School!

Our students walked through our doors in September 2025 on our official opening, coming from significantly disrupted educational histories and slowly transitioned in to their brand new setting, adjusting themselves to new peers, teachers, learning environments and the rigour of an exam curriculum.

In just under 9 months, our 2025/26 Year 11 cohort have only gone and excelled despite these hurdles and smashed their GCSE results!

They studied so hard to catch up to their mainstream counterparts, and their grit, resilience and tenacity has paid off.

The National Average Grade 4+ pass in both Maths and English for students with EHCPs is 15% and OUR students...

..only went on to achieve 75% Maths and 50% English 💫

..with ALL of our students moving on to further education placements and P18 onto supported internships 🤩
