BTEC Health and Social Care, New College Doncaster

Last week students were involved in completing their full day first aid training. They are now qualified for 3 years! Well done to all who participated ❤️‍🩹

Thailand trip 2025! Students have had a fantastic 2 weeks where they volunteered within the comminity and supporting with the care of the elephants at the elephant nature park. Each student were able to learn about the culture, language and overcome challenges.

A couple of weeks ago HSC and human biology students visited the Thackray Museum. This is the UK's largest independent medical museum. Students were able to develop their understanding on the history of medicine and learn about the advancement of treatments.

Last Tuesday some of our students went to the Wakefield Mental Health Museum. They discovered the history, developments and public health applied to mental health.

Little helpers attended college once again to support Y12 students with their Unit 1 revision. Well done to everyone who sat the exam!
