Another fantastic training training session delivered by John from Medicus Training - clear, focused and to the point! Would highly recommend them for all of your First Aid training needs!

Fantastic to be asked back to run some more Paediatric First Aid Courses for Northgate Community Preschool and Northgate Community Hub in Tickhill Doncaster. Great to meet some fantastic members of staff I haven’t worked with before. The Community Hub runs lots of local baby and toddler groups so if your in the area you should definitely check it out.

Good afternoon all - we're going to be holding an Easter Market in conjunction with Distinctively Dunn and Dadesley Crafting CIC on Saturday April 2nd.

As well as the traditional indoor market we've been running on the first weekend of the month, we're going to be extending this to the outside area again (as we did for the Christmas Market) with food and drink stalls as well.

If you're a crafter and would like to be part of the outside market please message us on Facebook, as we only have a limited number of stands available, and we'll get you booked in.

Ukraine Crisis Appeal

From the capital of Kyiv to the borders with Slovakia and Poland, Ukrainians are hiding in basements and shelters, struggling to find food and looking for ways to escape Russia’s increasingly violent onslaught.

Abandoned cars lined the main roads out of the capital, broken down or out of gas. Some motorists sped west down eastbound lanes to get around heavy traffic, dodging armored vehicles and trucks hauling surface-to-air rockets toward the city. Family members said goodbye to those who stayed, unsure when they might be reunited.

About the appeal

Your Local-Lions Club is part of Lions International which has clubs with the same ethos as us already on the ground in Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Dnipro and more. They are able to distribute help directly where it is most needed.

What we would like you to do is help with this crisis by making a donation to the appeal. We would welcome your pledge whether you be an individual, company, community group or local council. I’m sure it makes more sense to maximise our efforts towards this crisis in this way, together we can achieve more. The need for cash donations is now essential to provide medical equipment and pharmaceuticals for the Ukrainian people.
