A heart felt thankyou goes out to all our families as today we say good bye to some and see you later to others.
We have had a fantastic year with your children with lots of fun and games.
As always we thank you all for your generous gifts and most of all for choosing us to care for your children.

Parents as we come to the end of term could we please remind everyone to get up to date with any outstanding fees.
We also ask that all funding forms are returned as soon as possible, these are required to claim your child's funding so important they are returned straight away.

Parents and Carers

With temperatures expected to reach around 33°C tomorrow, we wanted to share a little reminder that keeping children comfortable and safe in the heat is our priority.

We will be doing everything we can at nursery to help the children stay cool, including offering plenty of drinks, shade, and quieter activities. However, we also understand that some children may be more comfortable at home in a cooler environment during these very hot temperatures.

If you feel your child would be happier and more comfortable spending the day at home, please know this is absolutely fine. This is completely your choice, and we will be here ready to welcome all children who attend as usual ☀️

🌞 EXTREME WEATHER 🌞

The Met Office has issued amber extreme heat warnings across large parts of England and Wales.

⚠️ KEY SAFETY MESSAGES

• Avoid outdoor play during peak heat hours (11am – 3pm)

• Provide regular hydration breaks

• Keep children in shaded, well-ventilated areas wherever possible

• Apply and reapply sun cream (SPF 30+)

• Dress children in lightweight, loose-fitting clothing and sun hats

• Be vigilant for signs of heat exhaustion (tiredness, dizziness, flushed skin)

Extreme heat can pose a serious risk to young children, who are less able to regulate their body temperature.

Please remember to apply suncream to your children before attending nursery. They will also need a sun hat and to wear appropriate clothing. Thankyou 🌞
