We are delighted to announce the official grand opening of our brand new MUGA (Multi-Use Games Area)! This morning, we were joined by Mr Bennett, Trust PE Lead, and Mrs Smith, Trust Lead, who kindly came to cut the ribbon and celebrate the occasion with us.

This has truly been a team effort, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our pupils, staff, and families. Every non-uniform day, sponsored event, bake sale, and fundraising activity over the last couple of years has contributed directly to bringing this project to life. Your generosity and support have made this possible.

The new MUGA will make a huge difference to our school. It will provide a high-quality space for PE lessons in all weather, support active playtimes, enable more sports clubs and competitions, and help us promote physical activity and wellbeing across the school. It’s a space that will benefit every child—now and for many years to come.

We’re excited to share that our school library has recently had a big overhaul, and the pupils have been absolutely loving their visits to the newly organised space! One section that has been a particular hit is our graphic novels shelf — so much so that it was emptied almost straight away.

To keep up with this enthusiasm for reading, we’d love to expand this section further for the children. We’ve put together a shopping list on Amazon of books we know will be popular and engaging. If anyone would be happy to purchase an item from the list to donate to the school, we would be incredibly grateful. Every contribution, big or small, helps us nurture a love of reading in our pupils.
