Our very own Glenville Butterflies!🦋

Over the last few weeks before the summer holidays, students have cared for Painted Lady butterflies, from tiny caterpillars through to releasing fully matured butterflies into the Glenville Garden.🪴

Students have enjoyed learning about this fascinating life cycle whilst tending to their needs with care, eagerly following each developmental step. It was such a lovely moment when we released 8 healthy butterflies into the world 🙂

Recently, our Hair and Beauty students enjoyed a trip to Village!✨⛳

The group had a fantastic day taking part in activities including mini golf and ping pong, while also exploring the latest trends and products in the Beauty Outlet.

Trips like these provide valuable opportunities for students to build confidence and spend time together outside the classroom.🙂

It may be the holidays, but our Animal Care animals haven't forgotten their students!🐰🐀

Our animal residents are enjoying lots of attention from our staff over the summer, but it's safe to say they're looking forward to seeing our Yorkshire Rose College students when they return!🦎

Our very own Yorkshire Rose College Bike!🚲

Our students set themselves the challenge of transforming a bike from start to finish, putting their new skills into practice by painting the bike the colours of our college. The finished result is something they can be incredibly proud of.

A special thank you goes to the students for doing such a fantastic job, for sticking with the project, and for showing real determination to get it finished. Their teamwork and dedication really shows.👏 🙂

Last week, we celebrated the grand opening of our new Sensory Nook Pods!🎉

Our students were thrilled to open the new pods and are excited to be able to use them when they return to college in September. Created and installed by Ambispace, these dedicated sensory spaces provide safe, structured, and accessible environments that support our students with communication needs and SEND.

A huge thank you to AmbiSpace who made this possible and also for providing a few extra goodies, these were greatly appreciated by everyone!👏
