We were delighted to welcome South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue for a focus group with our Yorkshire Rose College students and Doncaster School for Deaf Children pupils.

The session was extremely positive and engaging. Our young people were enthusiastic in sharing their thoughts, experiences, and ideas, providing valuable feedback on the booklet currently being developed by South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service. Their contributions will help ensure the resource is accessible, meaningful, and relevant to Deaf children and young people across South Yorkshire.

Today, after an incredible 36 years of combined service, we said a fond farewell to Patrick as he begins his well-earned retirement.

Over the years, Patrick has been an integral part of our organisation, helping to guide us through countless changes in technology and IT systems. His knowledge, dedication and commitment have made a lasting impact, and his contribution to our organisation cannot be overstated.

While we will greatly miss his expertise, support and presence, we are delighted that he can now enjoy more time doing the things he loves, including spending time with his wife and tending to his allotment.

On behalf of everyone at The Carr Fenton Foundation, thank you for your many years of service and everything you have done for us. We wish you a long, happy and healthy retirement filled with new adventures and relaxation!

A huge congratulations and thank you to Chris for taking on the incredible challenge of Tough Mudder to raise money for our new therapy room!

Not only did he complete an astonishing 53.8km, but he also achieved an amazing 12th place out of 133 finishers and raised a fantastic £320 towards new therapy equipment that will help support the people we work with every day.

Thank you for your determination, commitment and generosity. We truly appreciate your incredible efforts and the difference your fundraising will make to those using our new therapy room. 💙
