Exciting News - I’m officially a TEDx Speaker!
I’m incredibly honoured to share that I’ve been invited to speak at TEDx.
This opportunity means so much, not just personally, but for the message and vision I’ve been nurturing for the past three years journeying from sleepless nights staring at the ceiling, to tapping away in coffee shops, through to the birth of Mind Wellbeing last year.
The saying, ‘Those who can’t do, teach,’ resonates deeply with me, but not in the way it’s often meant. I believe some of the most powerful teachers begin as seekers, curious, unsure, and shaped by their own struggles. That’s my story.
This journey began with questions, discomfort, and a heart full of hope. I cry, doubt myself, and fall back into old patterns....OFTEN....extremely frustrating for those close to me (THANKYOU....you know why you are). I don’t pretend to have it all figured out.
What I do have is a growing commitment to myself, to the simple practices that help me, and to sharing openly as I learn.
I’m walking this path imperfectly, but with great intent. Every step I take is a choice to move toward leading with heart, clarity, and empowerment, whilst helping as many humans as possible along the way.
This talk is more than an event, it’s a dream I wrote down, and pinned to a pinboard three years ago.
It’s proof that small, hopeful visions can become real. It’s my opportunity to show that you don’t have to be fully ‘there’ to lead, you just need to be willing to go first.
The talk will explore something very close to my heart. While I’m keeping the details under wraps for now, I can say this, it speaks to the power of change, the stories we carry, and the way we shape the world, starting with ourselves.
To everyone who has and continues to believe in me, thank you. I can’t wait to share more when the time is right.

Prevention is our main focus at Mind Wellbeing.
We're huge believers that by giving children the tools to understand themselves at a young age, we help them grow stronger, more resilient, and better prepared to face life’s challenges.
When we nurture understanding, kindness, and confidence early on, their minds flourish. 🌿✨

Overthinking can feel overwhelming, but a simple way to take back control is by naming your thoughts!
When you notice a thought spinning in your head, say to yourself, “I’m having the thought that…”
This small shift reminds you that not every thought is fact. It’s just a passing thought, not the whole truth.
With practice, naming your thoughts can help you see them more clearly, ease the mental pressure, and restore your sense of calm. 🌿✨

Not everyone finds it easy to respond to “Are you OK?” Sometimes, just a more open-ended or gentle approach can encourage someone to share.
Try asking questions like:
💭 “What’s been on your mind lately?”
🌿 “How have things been going for you recently?”
🌞 “What’s been the best part of your day today?”
🗣️ “Is there anything you’d like to talk about or share?”
💛 “How are you feeling about everything right now?”
By offering a thoughtful, non-judgemental prompt, you might open the door for a more meaningful connection. 🫂

Perfection isn’t about never making mistakes—it’s about seeing the beauty in our imperfections. 🌿💛
By embracing our flaws, we allow ourselves to grow, learn, and connect on a deeper level. And it’s a gift we can pass on to our children—showing them that it’s okay not to be perfect all the time, and helping them see their worth in every step of the journey. ✨

At Mind Wellbeing, we see emotions as energy in motion. 🍥
They move through us, shift, and change. When we take a moment to acknowledge them, rather than suppress them, we give ourselves the space to understand what they’re telling us.
Emotions are our mind’s way of communicating how we’re doing and what we need. Recognising them helps us stay connected, grounded, and compassionate toward ourselves and others. 🌿💛

Take a moment to pause, breathe, and truly be present.
A few mindful moments—like a short walk, deep breathing, or tuning into your senses—can make a big difference. 🌿✨

Our research shows a powerful shift. 🌟
We’ve found that the phrase ‘Mind Wellbeing’ carries a much more positive and empowering connotation compared to ‘Mental Health.’ It opens up kinder, more supportive conversations—ones that feel less stigmatising and more uplifting. ☀️
We love this quote from one of our wonderful Mind Wellbeing Volunteers. 💛
