📢 Important Reminder – August Fees

As we approach the end of the school year, we'd like to remind all families paying by monthly instalments that the August fee payment remains due, even though the school is closed for the summer holidays. Fees are spread equally across 12 months to help make payments more manageable throughout the year.

This also applies to our Year 6 leaver families, where August will be the final payment under your current fee arrangement.

We would also like to ask anyone with outstanding fees to please bring their account up to date as soon as possible. Unfortunately, unpaid fees are causing significant financial pressure on the school. If this situation continues, it could have serious consequences for the future of Sycamore Hall.

Our teachers and staff are already working incredibly hard to provide the best education and care for our children, and time spent chasing overdue payments is time taken away from supporting pupils.

We are a family at Sycamore Hall, and we greatly appreciate everyone's support in helping the school remain strong and secure for all our children.

If you are experiencing difficulties with payments, please don't ignore the situation. Contact the school office and arrange an appointment so that we can discuss a suitable payment plan.

📢 School Trip Payment Reminder – Chatsworth House & Farm 📢

A reminder that payment for our Chatsworth House & Farm trip on 17th July is now due.

The cost is £30 per child, which covers both coach travel and entrance fees.

Unfortunately, each year the school is left significantly out of pocket due to outstanding trip payments. As places, transport and admissions have already been booked, we would be grateful if all parents could ensure payment is made as soon as possible.

💳 Payments can be made directly into the school account (please let us know once payment has been made so we can update our records).

💷 Cash payments can be given to Mrs Grassi or Mrs Nicklin.

Thank you for your cooperation and support. We are looking forward to giving the children a fantastic end-of-term trip.

🎒🌞 Throwback to Last Summer's Eden Camp Adventure! 🌞🎒

As we look forward to another exciting summer, we've been reminiscing about our fantastic trip to Eden Camp last year.

Our pupils had a wonderful day exploring the fascinating history of the Second World War, stepping back in time through the immersive exhibits and learning about the experiences of those who lived through the conflict. From military vehicles and wartime artefacts to life on the Home Front, there was something to capture everyone's imagination.

Most importantly, it was a day filled with curiosity, laughter, learning, and memories that will stay with us for years to come.

Children aged 4–18 are invited to take part in the Read-iculous Places Challenge!Choose your favourite book, find a unique place to read it, and send a photo of yourself reading there. The most creative and unusual reading spots could win some fantastic prizes, including a bundle of books and games from the National Literacy Trust.
