Our Year 10 GCSE Textiles students enjoyed a visit to Lincoln Cathedral as part of their Architecture project. They explored the gothic architecture and captured photographs and sketches of stone carvings, stained glass, arches and decorative details to inspire their textile work. The trip gave students plenty of ideas for pattern, texture, colour and structure, which they will now develop into their own samples and final pieces.
