We've had a lot of enquiries recently about beginner classes so in case youre interested, we are always happy to take on beginners or people looking to restart their training. Classes are tailored for all levels so you'll be well looked after.

After a busy few months studying the Jo-ryaku no maki from the Gyokko Ryu we will be covering some basics for the next month or so before we move on to Shinden-fudo ryu - the school of the immovable heart which dates back to around 1100 so over 900 years old.

Shinden Fudo Ryu There are actually 3 different styles of Japanese martial art that use the title Shindenfudo Ryu, which means the School of the unshakeable heart

We've been studying the Joryaku no Maki from Gyokko Ryu. This is one of the oldest schools that we study within the Bujinkan and has strong links to China and Chinese martial arts in its origins.
Comprised of several levels, gyokko ryu is also the school that we take several basic forms from known as the kihon happo and the sanshin no kata.

I've had confirmation from the community centre that we can recommence socially distanced training from may, so the first class back will be the 19th of May at 7.30.
