Our Key Stage 2 pupils had a wonderful time celebrating Holi yesterday! 🌈

They thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the vibrant festivities, learning about the significance of the festival and embracing the joy, colour, and togetherness it represents.

It was fantastic to see so many smiling faces and such enthusiastic participation—what a memorable experience for everyone involved!

Our pupils had a fantastic opportunity today attending the Trust Student Council meeting at Hall Cross Academy.

They really enjoyed taking part in learning about dental hygiene, including how to properly care for their teeth and maintain healthy smiles. 🦷✨

A great morning of learning, collaboration, and representing our school with pride!

Great support from Go Green Eco Heroes who visit Sandringham Primary School on Friday to present to pupils. We love our new bird house, bug hotel, and hedgehog house! Children loved the sessions and are loving exploring the new wildlife homes.

Our eco-ambassadors worked really hard with the charity Kids Plant Trees. The children planted cherry, apple and pear trees to expand our Sandringham garden. We are all really proud of the children!

On Thursday 15th January our kitchen team will be preparing a very special lunch for Census Day!
Did you know that your child having a school dinner on Census Day helps our school receive more funding.
Each term, the government collects data on how many pupils take up school meals, especially universal infant free school meals for children in Reception, Y1 & Y2.
This information is used to determine how much funding our school receives to support learning, resources and enrichment activities. So, if your child is eligible for free school meals, having one on Census Day helps us secure the funding we need to continue offering high quality education and pupils.
Even if your child usually brings a packed lunch, we'd love for them to have a school meal on Census Day - it really does make a difference!

Please ensure you book your child's school meal on ParentPay.

AI-driven toys will be everywhere this Christmas 🤖, offering children personalised interactions that can feel surprisingly real.

Our latest guide explores how these toys listen, learn, and respond, and what that means for privacy, security, and healthy development. It also shares practical advice to help adults set boundaries, check permissions, and ensure AI supports, rather than replaces, real-world interaction.
