Year 6 had a fantastic visit from Drax yesterday. Throughout the day, the children learned how to build and programme mechanical LEGO robots. Each robot was unique, creative and impressive, showcasing the pupils’ imagination and problem-solving skills.
Using laptops, the children designed and controlled their robots, making them move forwards, backwards, spin and travel in different directions. They also explored a variety of exciting activities with other robots, including races and team challenges.
The pupils worked brilliantly all day, demonstrating excellent teamwork, creativity and perseverance. It was a fascinating and enjoyable experience that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
