West Road Primary Academy

Due to the extreme temperatures within our school building, school will be closing at 1.15 TODAY and TOMORROW. Please collect from your child's normal playground. All children must be collected (including those that usually have permission to walk home alone) by an adult and will not be allowed to walk home on their own.

If you have any questions, please contact the school office.

Don't forget to join your child's class dojo account. We will continue to share photographs and celebrations within our school on here but for up to date messages and daily communication we will be using classdojo.

With the heatwave approaching this week, we have decided that all children have the option of wearing their PE kit all week. (Please ensure the shorts are appropriate) They are reminded to bring a water bottle and a hat with them and to ensure they have their water bottle.

Lower key stage 2 sports day is tomorrow afternoon at 1.30pm. To enter the field please use the KS1 playground. Children can come in pe kits (white tshirt and dark bottoms) and need to bring a water bottle and sun hat. Many thanks!

Just a reminder that we are sending England positive vibes in the world cup today by wearing anything red or white. Alternatively children can come in football related items instead.
