🌞🌞Due to the hot weather expected for the rest of the week, children are allowed to come in their clothes in order to feel more comfortable in the heat today, Thursday and Friday.

Please ensure children come to school appropriately dressed for the weather, with sun hats, water bottles and sun cream applied. 🌞🌞

A massive thank you to all the Year Five parents to came into school today to support our children’s learning on food preperation and safety in the kitchen. It was amazing to see how many parents enjoyed tucking into the children’s creations of a Brazilian Feijoada! Some were a little heavy on the chilli flakes but that didn’t stop every dish from being empty at the end of the afternoon. ☺️

Invoice fraud can create significant financial and operational disruption for schools, particularly when criminals exploit trusted supplier relationships or busy internal processes.

Our latest guide supports schools in recognising the warning signs and strengthening fraud awareness across teams.

The guide explores:
• How convincing invoices and small email changes can be used to mislead staff
• The risks linked to urgent payment requests and supplier impersonation
• Warning signs such as unusual wording, mismatched details and unexpected bank changes
• Practical steps including verification, invoice cross-checking, dual approval and prompt reporting

With clear, actionable advice, this resource helps schools build confidence and reduce the risk of costly payment fraud.

Due to the continued hot weather tomorrow, children can come in own clothes again.

Year 4 children going to Magna need to come in PE kit (white T-shirt and black shorts) so they are clearly identifiable.

Thank you.

The weather is expected to be warm over the next few days. Please help us keep children safe and comfortable by:

🧢 Sending your child to school with a named water bottle and sun hat.

🧴 Putting sun cream on your child before school. If your child can apply it themselves, they may also bring sun cream to school.

💧 Children will be able to drink water throughout the day.

🌳 We will use shaded areas outside whenever possible.
