Our Y4 children had an amazing time at Sing Out on Monday evening at Doncaster Dome, putting on an amazing performance which showed how hard they had all worked in rehearsals. Thank you to everyone who came along to support them, it was a magical night of singing and dancing. Even Miss Williams had a starring role helping out during our pre-performance rehearsal demonstrating the dances to the children!

Reception are really enjoying making their own signs and labels to enhance their creative play. They have created a train station and a hospital in role play areas this week. It is fantastic to see so many confident writers using their phonic knowledge!

Last week was our trust charity week and we want to thank our amazing families for their generous donations for Winston's Wish. Through our Summer Fun Run, non-uniform day and treat sales we were able to raise money to help bereaved children across the country.

We have had a fantastic year with our Nursery and Reception and are really proud of how they have settled and worked really hard. As a special thank you to them for being little superstars our Early Years team are hosting the Woodfield Early Years Big Day Out on Wednesday 15th July during the school day.
They will be planning lots of fun and games to celebrate the day and we'll provide some little treats too. All we ask is that children in Nursery and Reception come dressed to go to the beach and ready to party the day away. No swimwear required but they should bring a change of clothes as we will be getting the paddling pools out! If it is sunny we will be outside for most of the day so please make sure your child has sun cream on and a sun hat with them.
