If you’re AQA, Edexcel, Eduqas or iGCSE — use your calculator wisely, but make sure you still write down all your working clearly. Method marks can make a huge difference!

If you’re OCR — remember this is the non-calculator paper, so take your time with written calculation methods. Accuracy matters more than speed.

Don’t overload your brain trying to do everything mentally. As an examiner, one of the best things to see is clear working out — even if the final answer isn’t perfect, you can still pick up marks throughout the question.

Read each question carefully, underline key information, and check your answers if you have time.
