SUMMER ACTIVITIES DAYS
The Details
Ages: School ages 4–11 years (Boys & Girls welcome!)
Location: Westwoodside Village Hall
Remaing Dates:
Thursday 13th August 2026
Thursday 20th August 2026
Thursday 27th August 2026
Open to All: Everyone is welcome—whether you already dance with us or are completely new to dancing and just want to join in the summer fun!
Time: 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Early drop available from 9am)
Collection: Children must be collected no later than 4pm unless they are booked to attend our Kids Acro Class at 4:30pm.
Cost: £30.00 per child per day.

➡️ Fun Dance Routines 🕺
➡️ Singing 🎶🎤
➡️ Gymnastics / Acrobatics 🤸♂️🤸♀️ (with access to our large inflatable air track, air beam & air roller, PLUS various other fun acro equipment!)
➡️ Outdoor Play & Equipment 🌞🏃♀️🏃♂️
➡️ Creative Activities: Colouring 🖍🎨, Playdough 👩🎨, LEGO 🏰, Sports Games & More!
➡️ Enjoy a movie with free fresh plain popcorn
What do you need to bring: Please bring a packed lunch & drinks. Sun lotion / hats etc if needed.
Extras: Our tuck shop will be available to purchase any extra drinks or treats!

Just a couple of announcements...
1. Due to lack of paying members on the Digital Skool platform I have made the decision to cancel this platform. If you need practice videos you will need to get individual permission from others in your group to record steps etc. It is not always possible to find time to do this during lesson times & I cant allocate my time to do this for each student individually.
2. Westwoodside Village Hall is increasing its hourly hall hire fees from september. This as well as other rising costs means I am reviewing fees & whether we can continue running the PAYG / Drop in option, alongside our pay monthly classes. We need guaranteed number in order for classes to run, to ensure the hall hire & other cost are met each week.
3. The Show. Show Tickets will be going on sale. I estimated at least 2 tickets per family taking part. These will cost £15.00 each. [little ones who are in the 1st half of the show will be able to watch the 2nd half without needing a ticket & Adults taking part in the 2nd half will also be able to watch the 1st half without needing a ticket]. Please let us know how many tickets you need as we want a good audience for everyone to perform to! But the Theatre is only small & has just 72 seats available. 1st come 1st served.

You are so patience with our little dancers & I know they will love having you around for support at the show & also seeing you dancing up there as well x 🎊💐🥳

Classes will be running tomorrow 🙂
Whilst it will be warm, its forecast between 21° - 23° C during our class times.
Its not forecast to hit the 30+ like the heat we had on Thursday!
Remeber to bring water bottle. [These can be refilled from the kitchen tap]. 💧🚰
We will also have drinks available to buy from tuck shop.🥤

🌟 NEW CLASS ALERT at Westwoodside Village Hall! 🌟
We are excited to expand our timetable at Westwoodside Village Hall with a great afternoon of activity for both Infant and Junior school-aged children:
THURSDAYS
🤸 4:30 PM – 5:15 PM: Mixed Age & Ability Gymnastics / Acrobatics
Our established class for all school-aged children to build strength, flexibility, and confidence.
✨ NEW 5:15 PM – 6:00 PM: Dance for Fun!
A brand-new class designed specifically for Infant and Junior school-aged children (including those starting school this September).
How to join:
We are currently gauging interest for the Dance for Fun! class.
🚀 Aiming for a July start if we have enough interest!
📅 Otherwise, we will launch in September.
Important Attendance & Policy Notes:
➡️Acrobatics/Gymnastics: Parents and carers are welcome to stay and watch if they wish, although DROP & COLLECT is preferred to keep distractions to a minimum.
➡️Dance for Fun!: This session is strictly DROP & COLLECT.
➡️Combined Classes: If your child is attending both the 4:30 PM and 5:15 PM sessions, please drop them off at 4:30 PM and collect them promptly from the back hall door at 6:00 PM.
