🏆 MK2 Liftrucks South Yorkshire Cup – Under 13s 🏆

We can’t wait to welcome five teams to the Club Doncaster Sports Village for our Under 13s pre-game competition ahead of Doncaster RLFC vs Sheffield Eagles.

The teams will compete in a 9-a-side round-robin tournament, with the overall winners taking home the MK2 Liftrucks South Yorkshire Cup! 🏆

It should be a brilliant afternoon of community Rugby League and a fantastic opportunity for these young players to represent their clubs on the big stage.

⏰ The tournament kicks off at 1pm — so get down early and lend your support to all the teams!

Head of Rugby Development Jordan Platt has named his Dons Progressive Pathway Match Squad to take on Oldham Pathway this Sunday.

The match kicks off at 1:00pm at The Club Doncaster Sports Village, before the Dons' first-team fixture, and promises to be a fantastic showcase of some of the best young talent from across the region.

A huge congratulations to every player selected and to the community clubs that continue to develop these young players. We'd also like to give a special mention to Bentley Arlfc, who have an outstanding seven players named in the squad.

The response to our new Dons Progressive Pathway has been unbelievable, so we've had to move the sessions to Bentley Arlfc to make sure everyone has enough room.

We've already had 90 boys sign up, which is fantastic. Thanks to everyone who's registered – we're looking forward to getting started on Friday.

Session times remain the same:

🏉 Years 10–11: 1:00pm – 2:30pm

What an amazing evening for our community club, Doncaster Toll Bar ARLFC !

Their Under 7s and Under 9s had an unforgettable experience, walking out with the Dons before taking part in a half-time parade in front of the crowd.

The children were joined by one of our stars,Tyler Hepi, along with our Head of Rugby Development, Jordan Platt, making it a night they'll remember for a long time.

The children received free tickets for the game due to our partnership with MK2 Lift Trucks helping support the development and growth of the game in Doncaster.

Growing the game together!

We had a fantastic evening at our Toll Bar taster session, with five new players signing up to give rugby league a go! 🙌

Alongside the session, our Head of Rugby Development, Jordan Platt, also delivered some coach CPD, sharing games, activities and coaching ideas to help keep children engaged, active and enjoying every minute of training.

Developing players and supporting coaches go hand in hand. By working closely with our community clubs, we can create better experiences for young players, increase participation and build a stronger future for rugby league across Doncaster.
