💚 An incredible £744.60 raised for Macmillan Cancer Support! 💚

Last week, we held two Macmillan Coffee Mornings — one at Bullcroft Memorial Hall, supported by Bev-Ridge, and another here at The Ridge Employability College.

Thanks to the generosity of everyone involved, our team raised a fantastic combined total of:

☕ £744.60 ☕

A huge thank you to everyone who donated, attended and helped make both coffee mornings such a success. Every contribution helped us reach this brilliant total and will support Macmillan in providing vital care for people living with cancer.

We couldn’t have done it without you! 💚

Thinking about what the future could look like after school or college?

TREC will have a stall at the Doncaster Council Doncaster Futures Fair next Tuesday, and we’d love our learners, parents and carers to come along and see what’s available.

The event brings together organisations offering information, advice, activities and opportunities for young people aged 14–25 with SEND, additional needs or who are neurodivergent.

It’s a great opportunity to explore different pathways towards adulthood, ask questions and discover the support available across Doncaster. You’ll also be able to visit the TREC stall and speak to our team.

📅 Tuesday 29th September 2026
⏰ 3pm–6pm for young people, parents and carers
📍 Club Doncaster Sports Village
Formerly the Eco-Power Stadium

Places are limited and booking is essential. Scan the QR code on the poster to reserve your slot.

The venue also offers free parking, accessible lift access, sensory spaces and refreshments.

🎉 4th September is here! 🎉

Ten years ago today, we opened the doors to The Ridge Employability College. Since then, we’ve enjoyed 10 wonderful years filled with engagement, achievement and success.

Today, we would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey:

💙 To all our learners, who have worked incredibly hard and achieved so much.

💙 To the parents and families who have entrusted us with supporting their young people.

💙 To our dedicated staff, who continually advocate for young people with SEND and remain ambitious for every learner’s future.

💙 To the Ridge Supporters, whose fundraising events help to enrich our learners’ social experiences.

💙 And to our partners across education, social care, transport, local businesses, voluntary organisations and charities, who support the futures of young people in so many different ways.

Working together makes everything possible, so a massive thank you for all your support over the past 10 years.

Team TREC can’t wait to catch up with everyone at our All Graduate Reunion and 10th Anniversary celebration tonight! 🎉
