Adventuring Angels

Today has totally blown me away. We welcomed some volunteers from Morgan Lambert LTD to put up the long awaited Outdoor Kitchen. The Environmental Pride Team from St Leger Homes Doncaster Doncaster Council came along and weeded out the fruit trees, which are now bearing fruit and a couple of community members came and helped with the kitchen.
I think you will agree Morgan Lambert LTD has done an amazing job, they have worked diligently and hard all day to ensure the structure is safely put up.
Well done guys, you nothing less than awesome 🙌👏👏

The Home Ed group is on tomorrow. Waterproofs are a great idea along with waterproof shoes or wellies. 10am until around 3pm, unless it is raining really hard then we will finish early!!!

We are also having a volunteering day on Friday, we have plenty of weeding to do and other jobs - many hand make light work, there is plenty for everyone so no-one is left out. Message for more information.

Buggy Brigade is back Friday 12th June. Meeting at Denaby Cemetery at 11:30am. A short walk and talk for health for mums, grandparents, carers and anyone else who would like to join for a short local walk finishing at a local cafe.

A BIG SHOUT OUT to the amazing people who have helped me out over the past two days. Jennifer, Emily, Lois and Hannah, you have all been awesome and made two sessions absolutely amazing.

2- Family Outdoor cooking. What a fabulous day, we beat the heat and managed to cook jacket potatoes, pitta pizzas and food parcels, followed by the washing up and marshmallows.
Safe to say everyone had a great time and learnt about different cooking methods as well as exploring and playing together.
Thank you Remake Learning Doncaster for the opportunity to be part of the festival 🥰

Creepy Crawlies and Wormeries Day.
We had lots of fun exploring, making bug hotels using our imaginations, wood and the things we could find. Everyone from the oldest to the youngest took part and mastered using a bow saw and a hammer and nails.
Awesome work everyone.
