Superb Home Education session today. Loads of families, kids playing demonstrating great respect and kindness towards each other, parents supporting each other and helping with odd jobs and a little maintenance. Today we welcomed a assistance dog in training and had our very first Team Angels meeting.

Team Angels is a group of people coming together to support the running and development of Adventuring Angels HQ. If you fancy joining us to develop an amazing outdoor learning space message below and connect with us.

This month I will be running 80k in support of Run for Autism. This activity raises awareness of autism and will also help me to regain my strength and motivation after a summer of injury. Please support if you can, all encouragement very welcome. Thanks

What a weekend!!! Spent an awesome time with Jennifer Webb at the Forest School Association Conference at Walesby.
We learnt loads of different skills, met new people, tried different equipment and listened to some inspiring speakers exploring play.
Lots of thoughts, lots of ideas and lots of questions to research for the work at Mercury College and Adventuring Angels

A home ed session full of celebrations today. A full morning of exploring, problem solving and playing, followed by hot dogs, bacon sarnies, happy birthday singing and the presentation of AQA certificate.
These two youngster worked really hard over the past year and have both achieved 3 AQA units. Congratulations boys, you have worked hard 👏👏👏🙌💚😀

If you went down to Waverley Woods today this is what you would have seen.
44 people playing, making Gruffalos and dens, a little bit of whittling and generally enjoying the Forest Family Fun drop in session.
Great to see so many families out enjoying the sunshine.
See you all on the 11th October, why not bring a picnic and stay for the afternoon too???
