Hello and welcome. For those who are new here, allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Gareth and I have been playing guitar for 30 years. I began teaching guitar in 2009 and have taught people from 4 to 64 how to navigate this 6-stringed wonder.

I teach all styles of guitar including electric and acoustic but also more specialised styles including classical, slide and contemporary open tunings.

I can provide lessons geared towards achieving grades if this is your goal and have led pupils to Grade 8 performance with ABRSM and Rockschool syllabuses.

I am a fully qualified teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (I trained as a teacher and am allowed to teach full classes of pupils in schools) and I have a current DBS certificate for working with children.
