We learnt all about Sri Lanka on Friday. Mr and Mrs Hettige came in to talk about their native country and they showed us a presentation about Sri Lanka, which we all found very interesting. Thank you to them both for coming into school to share their knowledge and experiences.

Tomorrow is our Harvest Mass at 9:00am in the school hall and everyone is welcome to join us.

As part of our celebrations, we are collecting non-perishable food items for our local food bank. Donations will be displayed during Mass before being delivered to support local families in need.

This reflects the Catholic Social Teaching principle of the Preferential Option for the Poor, reminding us to care for the most vulnerable members of our community.

If you are able to donate, please bring items into school tomorrow. We will also continue to accept donations until Monday 5th October.

After Mass, please stay and join us for a drink, a biscuit and a chat. We look forward to seeing you there.

🏫 Year 6 Victorian School Visit 🏫

Our Year 6 children had a fantastic day on Friday experiencing what life was like in a Victorian school! 📚✏️

The children learnt lots about the history of the Victorian era and discovered what everyday life was like for a Victorian child, including the very different rules, routines and expectations they faced at school.

It was a brilliant hands-on learning experience and a wonderful way to bring our history topic to life. Well done, Year 6! 🌟
