A beautiful morning hello from Castleton after a full night sleep by all - they’ve all enjoyed breakfast and off to explore their morning activities - Zip wire, Raft building and Rock ❤️

☀️ IMPORTANT UPDATE: Optional Early Collection (Thursday 25th & Friday 26th June) ☀️

Due to the extreme heat and our school building becoming very warm in the afternoons, we are offering an optional early collection at 1:00 PM both tomorrow (Thursday) and Friday.

Our absolute priority is the health, comfort, and safety of our children. While we have put measures in place (increased airflow, reduced physical activity, and extra hydration), the building remains very hot later in the day.

We encourage as many parents as possible to collect their children at 1:00 PM. This will allow us to move any remaining pupils into the coolest parts of the building for a relaxed afternoon.

Key Information:

🚪 Gates open: 1:00 PM

🔒 Gates close promptly: 1:20 PM (to ensure site safety)

🛑 Arriving after 1:20 PM? Please collect your child via the main office reception.

🏫 Can't collect early? Don’t worry! School remains open until the usual time, and we will look after your children in the coolest available spaces.
