Inclusive school holiday camps for children coming to Doncaster

06/10/2026

As much as we love creating content to share on social media, Mrs Simmons and I have attended training today with the Internet Watch Foundation (IWF), and they have again highlighted the really worrying ways that images of children can unfortunately be taken from social media platforms and manipulated using AI to create indecent content.

It is incredibly scary to hear that people can take an innocent image of a child, use AI to digitally remove their clothing and then use the manipulated image as part of sexual or pornographic content.

As a school, we don’t want to take any unnecessary risks with our children’s images. Therefore, we will absolutely continue creating our silly and fun videos, but we will do this using shots from behind, so that children are not identifiable. Yesterday’s video will be taken down for this reason.

We’re really sad that we have to take this approach, but our children’s safety has to come first.

It’s also an important reminder for us all to think carefully about what images of our own children are publicly accessible on our personal social media accounts.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us to keep our children safe.

Miss Wales is super excited that her new badges have arrived 💜
Remember tomorrow is the last day, children can apply to become a member of our new ‘kindness crew’ 🌈

We’ve already had some lovely applications and fantastic ideas from our children, thank you to parents who’ve also supported and encouraged them to get involved.
