Today we celebrated Earth Day through simple sensory and creative experiences.
The children explored a fizzy Earth activity, showing curiosity as they watched the bubbles and reactions. Babies used their senses to explore textures and sounds, while toddlers began to notice changes and show excitement.
They used sponges to paint with blue and green colours, making marks to represent the Earth. This supported their early creativity and helped develop fine motor skills as they grasped and pressed the sponges.
We also planted seeds together and watered them. The children enjoyed handling the soil and water, beginning to experience how we care for plants and the natural world.๐
