Today we celebrated Earth Day through simple sensory and creative experiences.
The children explored a fizzy Earth activity, showing curiosity as they watched the bubbles and reactions. Babies used their senses to explore textures and sounds, while toddlers began to notice changes and show excitement.
They used sponges to paint with blue and green colours, making marks to represent the Earth. This supported their early creativity and helped develop fine motor skills as they grasped and pressed the sponges.
We also planted seeds together and watered them. The children enjoyed handling the soil and water, beginning to experience how we care for plants and the natural world.π

πΌ A lovely week of learning through play! πΌ
This week we explored the wonders of nature and creativity while following the EYFS framework. The children enjoyed painting with flowers, creating beautiful natural artwork and talking about the different colours they could see. π¨πΈ
We had lots of fun with water play, carefully watering our flowers and learning how to look after them. π§π± The children also practised their counting skills by counting petals and flowers together.
To finish our week, we went on a little bug hunt and searched for ladybirds πβa great way to spark curiosity and learn about the world around us!
So many smiles, discoveries, and hands-on learning moments π

This week we had a wonderful time celebrating Easter! π£ We decorated our Easter tree, designed our own Easter eggs, and went on a fun egg hunt. The children loved searching for chicks, exploring messy play, painting their own canvases, and enjoying bubbles.
These activities supported the EYFS areas of learning, including Expressive Arts and Design, Physical Development, and Communication and Language. So many smiles and lovely memories made! πΌβ

πΈβ¨ Motherβs and Others' Day β¨πΈ
Motherhood is definitely something worth celebrating π₯³ however, not all children have the same family setup! π¬
There are many different family structures to consider, and thatβs why itβs important to make sure all children feel included π Some children may want to celebrate their grandma, aunties, sisters etc, or anyone of importance to them! π₯°
