“Enough to Share”
'When we have enough, we can share. When we share what we have, we help others flourish.'

“Together, we can help everyone grow and flourish.”

Thank you to everyone who donated and attended our Harvest Festival yesterday. I don't think our hall has been so full!!

A last little post from me...
Thank you so much to everyone for the support, kindness and generosity you have shown me today and throughout the year(s)! What a fabulous last day it's been and it's all thanks to these wonderful children (and of course their amazing adults!)
It was lovely to sing in with the whole school in church at Mass this morning. I've loved seeing all the children I've taught in previous years this afternoon - thank you for all the hugs and kind words. My chapter may be closing at BSW, but as I hate goodbyes... this is a see you later!
From the bottom of my heart - thank you and I hope you all have the best summer! Mrs Head 😀❤️

Please, please, please could we still ask for families & friends to use the link below to continue to sponsor and raise funds for our outdoor areas around school. We really want to create even more amazing opportunities for our children and with your support, we can continue to do that!
Big shout out to our amazing PTA and Mr Harvey for organising everything!! You really do make special memories for our children!!! Thank you 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈

Year 1 DT - Fruit Salad 🍎🍊🍌🍇🍓🫐🥝🍍
This afternoon the children have been making their fruit salads as part of their final DT project. They used different skills to prepare their healthy snack such as peeling, chopping and cutting. They then arranged their fruit on a plate. But the best part of it was... getting to eat it afterwards! Well done, Year 1!

Phonics Screening Check

A huge well done to our Year 1s & our Year 2 re-sits on their fantastic effort during the Phonics Screening Check! ⭐️I'm so proud of the dedication, enthusiasm and perseverance that each and every one has demonstrated this week! All of their hard work has paid off and I was amazed by their confidence during the checks.
You are all superstars! 🌟

This week we saw our Year 5 pupils head off on their residential visit to Hatfield Moors. They enjoyed a range of exciting activities, including rock climbing, paddle boarding, zip wire over the lake and campfires. It was a wonderful opportunity for them to challenge themselves, build confidence and create lasting memories with their friends.
Huge thank you to all the staff who made this happen, especially Mrs McConnell. They all deserve a well-earned rest!
