Hi everyone.
I hope you and your families are safe and well.
As you are aware, coronavirus pandemic has hit hard.
It is with this in mind that I sadly announce that I will no longer be running Sheffield classes or continuing with my franchise. This is partly to do with the financial aspect of re starting and as some of you know my personal circumstances at home have changed.
It has been an incredibly difficult decision for me to make as Brightsparks has been in my life for over 6 years now firstly with my own little brightspark and then starting up my own classes. I truly love what I do and will miss each and every one of you.

During the lockdown Jude, Claire and I have tried to see a way forward with classes but the very nature of our messy play and playing together is jeopardised by the real threat of passing on this deadly virus.

However, please be assured that BABYBRIGHTSPARKS LTD is very much still a business and as soon as Jude can see a way through the fog and find a way to hold classes safely and responsibly she will be on the lookout for new franchisees to take the reins of the messy play classes.
To all of my past and present customers Id like to thank you all for your business, loyalty, friendship and support over the last 4 years! I have made lots of happy memories and it’s been a privilege to be part of your babies experiences.
I have met some lovely people along the way who I know I will be friends with for a long time.

I would like to take this opportunity to formally thank Jude for her continued support and guidance and Claire for resource sharing with me from time to tone 😜 I will miss working with both of you 😘.

I will contact each person directly who has classes booked and paid for to arrange refunds.

Please keep sending me your messy pictures they really do brighten my day seeing how much everyone has grown and seeing what they are up to.

🌞🌞Ok ... so it’s not a normal Tuesday ... I’m not rushing around the house trying to get myself and Evie ready for our days, forgetting to take the time to cherish these mornings as life is passing by far too fast. Today she has already built a den to have her lunch in and she’s about to start making her own breakfast. ( seemed like a really good idea at the time and something I could tick off her home learning books - which i hate as its all sit and write )
Here is what we did yesterday - lots of outdoor messy play in the soil, planting and bug finding.
I know each day won’t be like this or yesterday and no doubt I will find some things hard but that’s ok.
Please share what you have been up to and let’s support each other and see if we can make each other smile.

It is with a very heavy heart that we have made the extremely difficult decision to close our classes for the time being based on today’s latest advice from the government to ‘avoid non essential social contact’.

Please appreciate this is not a decision we have taken lightly - given that it’s our livelihood and income at stake - but we have to put the health and well being of our BrightSparks and their grown ups first.

I’m sure you can understand that this is a difficult time for us and we truly hope to be back up and running as soon as we possibly can to continue the messy fun with you all.

As the current Coronavirus situation continues and progresses, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be following the government advice which, at the moment, is to continue pretty much as normal while taking sensible precautions such as frequent hand washing and self isolating if you have any symptoms. Until told otherwise, or schools/ education settings are advised to close, BabyBrightSparks classes will continue to run. 💜

Obviously things may change and in the coming weeks it may be that classes do have to be cancelled but I will of course keep you up to date on this.

PLEASE do not attend sessions if you are feeling unwell and have a cough.

Thank you for your understanding during these uncertain times which are, of course, also a very worrying time for those of us who are self employed and trying to keep things going for as long as possible to earn our living whilst also following advice from the government etc.
