π²π Another 9 Bikes Ready to Make a Difference! ππ²
This week, we've refurbished another 9 bikes, ready for our delivery partners to distribute to people who need them most.
That brings us to over 50 bikes refurbished and redistributed so far this year β 50 opportunities for someone to access transport, get to work, education, improve their wellbeing, as well as the freedom that cycling can bring. π
None of this would be possible without the incredible support of our community. A huge thank you to everyone who has donated a bike and to our amazing volunteers, whose hard work, dedication, and skills turn unwanted bikes into reliable rides once again. π§β»οΈ
Every donated bike has the potential to change a life, and every volunteer hour helps make that happen.
π Thank you for helping us keep bikes out of landfill and put them back where they belong β on the road and making a difference.

πβ»οΈ Small Actions, Big Impact β»οΈπ
At Yorkshire Bike Shack, we're passionate about more than just bikes β we're committed to doing our bit for the environment too.
The photo above represents around six months' worth of used tyres and inner tubes that have been collected through our workshop. Instead of ending up in landfill, these have been responsibly recycled and disposed of through the appropriate channels. π²
Every puncture repaired, every tyre replaced, and every bike refurbished is an opportunity to reduce waste and keep valuable materials out of the environment. It's just one of the many ways we're working towards a more sustainable future while helping more people get cycling.
When you choose to repair, reuse, and recycle, you're not just keeping your bike on the road β you're helping to reduce waste and support a greener community.
Together, we can make a difference, one bike at a time. π
