How fast does Santa really have to travel?

There’s nearly 8 billion people in the world. Santa hasn’t much time to visit all these homes! He starts at sundown on Christmas Eve in Australia and has to finish just before dawn on Christmas morning in Alaska – that’s just 36 hours to play with.

HE TRAVELS A TOTAL OF 1O MILLION KM IN THIS TIME!!!

1) What is Santa's average speed in m/s?

2) The laws of physics state nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. Does santa obey the laws of physics?

3) How does santa's speed compare to the speed of sound?
