Fabulous butternut squash bread made today by our St Oswald’s after-school crew. 🍞🎃
There were a few "Eeeew, I'm not putting that in!" comments at first, but we soon moved beyond that and got stuck into making our bread.
It's always lovely to see the children trying new ingredients and discovering that they can make something delicious from them. 😊
We hope you all enjoyed eating it as much as we enjoyed making it!

I've had a fab week with our Academy Students. They made bread, strawberry 🍓 jam and butter - from scratch!

Just WOW!

Home from Academy class number 2 today and those guys have made me so proud.

I'll leave this little reel here as I enjoy for my tea, what they (& I) made today. Fresh soda bread, homemade strawberry jam and butter. More class photos to follow.

OMG, I made butter and buttermilk today! 🤩

Using just one ingredient – cream – I transformed it into fresh homemade butter and buttermilk. It felt a little bit like magic watching it separate right before my eyes!

I'm so pleased with how it turned out and even more excited for our Academy students to experience that same sense of achievement when they make their own tomorrow. 🧈✨
I can't wait to see all their proud faces! 😊
