I've had a great time at the Auckley Show today. The exhibits were awesome. Just look at these cute creations made from fruit and veg.

✨ Our first Universal Funded Session! ✨
What a fantastic time we had! 🥳 The children jumped straight in and got stuck into a day full of food, fun and creativity.
👀 We started with our Foodie Feely Box game — lots of guessing, giggles and some very interesting guesses! 😂
🍿 Then it was time to get busy, we made delicious Toffee Popcorn Cheesecakes. They looked amazing — the perfect sweet treat to enjoy after all that hard work. 😋
🌈 We also got creative with some windmill crafts, making colourful creations to take home.
A brilliant first Universal funded session with lots of smiles, teamwork and, of course, plenty of food! 💕
We can’t wait for the next one! 👩🍳✨

It’s been so lovely watching the children get to know each other, make new friends and grow in confidence week after week. 💪✨ There’s nothing better than seeing them come through the door excited to see their friends, ready to get stuck in and proud of what they’ve created.
Our classes are about so much more than cooking — they’re about learning new skills, building confidence, making memories and creating friendships along the way. ❤️

Our final HAF day... and what a fabulous day it was! 🤩
We welcomed some new faces alongside some familiar ones, and everyone got stuck into the fun from the moment they arrived.
The day was packed with crafting, games and, of course, plenty of cooking! For lunch, the children made delicious corned beef pasties, followed by baking a chocolate chip cake to take home and share with their families.
There was lots of laughter during our food-themed eraser hide-and-seek game, before winding down with a lovely session led by Hollie from Relax Kids. The children enjoyed gentle stretches, mindfulness, meditation and even went fishing for positive affirmations – the perfect way to end a fun-filled day.
A huge thank you to City of Doncaster Council and the Department for Education for providing the funding to make these fantastic sessions possible. We hope everyone had as much fun as we did creating wonderful memories this summer! 💙

My son who’s 5 and a very picky eater attended cook stars with Zoe and I had no idea how he’d react to the class. He came out absolutely beaming with joy about everything he’d done that day and all the wonderful elements involved in the day. He can’t wait for his next class! I’m so impressed and excited for him

It's our final HAF day tomorrow, and everything is prepped and ready to go! 🎉
The recipes are planned, the ingredients are prepared, and the snacks are sorted. Now all that's left is to welcome another fantastic group of children for a fun-filled day of cooking, learning and, of course, plenty of tasting! 👩🍳🍴
We can't wait to see everyone tomorrow and finish this year's HAF programme on a high! 💚
