Our little explorers used nature to discover and identify shapes all around them β from circles in tree trunks to triangles in branches and stars made from sticks β

Our little explorers became nature detectives during todayβs bark printing activity πποΈ
Children explored the textures, shapes and patterns hidden within the trees by creating their very own bark rubbings using crayons and paper π²
This activity supported:
π Curiosity and investigation
π Fine motor development
π Early mark making and creativity
π Communication and descriptive language
π Understanding the natural world
The children loved discovering how every tree has its own unique pattern and texture π

Nature became our art box during Forest School this week π²π¨
Using leaves, sticks, twigs and other forest treasures, our children created beautiful pictures inspired by the world around them π
Through this activity, children explored:
π Creativity and imagination
π Communication and storytelling
π Fine motor development
π Early maths and pattern making
π Understanding the natural world
The children loved selecting their own resources, sharing ideas and proudly talking about their creations π

As many of our families prepare for summer holidays, we wanted to share some simple but important water safety reminders for little ones ππ©±
π Stay close to a grown-up

π Choose bright coloured swimwear to help children stay visible in the water
βοΈ Stay sun safe with hats, sunscreen and lots of drinks
ποΈ Swim only in safe, supervised areas
