The new website is LIVE 🥳 and I’ve done a little video to show you around and where to find all the important bits!

If you’re planning on coming along to a few classes, the Class Pass is definitely the best value 💛

You get 6 classes for £42, which works out at £7 per class, compared with £8.50 when booking individually — so you’re basically getting your 6th class free!

Classes start back the week of 22nd September and bookings are open now 🍂

The Alex is currently fully booked until the middle of October, but Tuesday in Sittingbourne and Wednesday in Canterbury are open to book now.

We’ll be starting with lots of lovely autumn themes, working our way towards Halloween and finishing the term with Messy Monsters before our Halloween Special 👻

Hi lovelies! 💛 Sorry it’s been a minute… how is everyone doing? How are we surviving the summer holidays? 😂

I’ve been a little MIA recently, but I finally get to tell you why…

We’re having a baby! 🥹🍼
Our newest little family member is due to join us in March 2027, which is incredibly exciting and also slightly terrifying!

And while I’ve been busy growing a tiny human, my wonderful husband has been busy behind the scenes too because…

After what feels like forever working on it, you can now head over and book your September classes for Sittingbourne and Canterbury.

Classes at The Alex in Faversham will be returning in October. We’re just making sure we can secure a lovely uninterrupted run of classes right through to Christmas before we release those dates, so stay tuned!

I am SO excited to get back to classes in September and see you all again. We’ll be kicking things off with a lovely wintry theme ❄️ and I’ve already got lots of ideas bubbling away for the rest of the term.

What a beautiful day yesterday was at the Rec for our final Jamboree of the summer! ☀️❤️

It was so lovely seeing so many familiar faces who have come along to the Jamborees time and time again, as well as meeting lots of new little ones and their families too.

A huge thank you to everyone who popped over, said hello and got stuck into the messy play. I’ve absolutely loved being part of these community days and working alongside Faversham Town Council to make them happen.

And now… September! 🍂

First Jamboree complete! 🧸🧺

It was so lovely to see so many little ones exploring, creating and following their own curiosity today.

I absolutely love these kinds of community events because children can dip in and out of the trays throughout the day, taking everything at their own pace. There’s no rush, no pressure; just lots of opportunities to play, discover and make messy memories.

We’ll be back next week with a Famous Bears theme, so if your little one loves Winnie the Pooh, Paddington, Yogi Bear and friends, come along and join the fun! 🧸

Today was a busy one at The Alex! Although I only managed to grab a handful of photos, we had an absolute blast. 🥰

It was so lovely meeting so many new faces, alongside some familiar ones returning for more messy fun. I just had to share this photo of these three handprints because today it wasn’t just the little one getting stuck in – Mum and Dad joined in with the full circus mess too! ❤️

Moments like these are exactly what messy play is all about.

Next week you’ll find me at the Teddy Bears’ Picnic Jamboree on Tuesday, 10am-2pm at the Front Brent’s Green. If you fancy coming along, we’d love to see you there! 🧸☀️

🐻🧺 We’re so excited to be attending Faversham Town Council’s Family Jamboree Day! 🧸

This August, you’ll find SPLAT Messy Play at both Family Jamboree Days, and I honestly can’t wait!

📍 Tuesday 4th August – Front Brents Green
📍 Wednesday 12th August – Faversham Recreation Ground (The Rec)
🕙 10am–2pm on both days

The theme is Teddy Bears’ Picnic, so don’t forget to bring your favourite teddy along! 🧸

A huge thank you to Faversham Town Council for inviting us to be part of these wonderful community events. We’re so grateful to be involved.

Why not pack a picnic, bring a friend (or two!), and come and make the most of these beautiful August summer days? There’ll be plenty to see and do, and we’ll be there ready to get messy with you all.

I really hope to see lots of familiar faces, and plenty of new ones too. These are the moments that make our community so special. 💙💛💗

Wednesday was our final session of the summer term at Canterbury Baptist Church, and what a lovely way to finish!

It has been such a privilege to watch your little ones grow in confidence, develop new skills, make new friends and, of course, embrace the mess week after week.

A huge thank you to everyone who has joined us in Canterbury this term, shared our classes with friends and family, and recommended Splat to others. Thanks to you, we’ve welcomed so many wonderful new faces, and it’s been so lovely seeing familiar faces return each week too.

We will be back in September, and I’ll be sharing the new term dates on the new website very soon.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this such a magical term. I can’t wait to make even more messy memories with you all soon. 🫟

Here’s a more natural version that keeps the focus on today’s Hungry Caterpillar session:

Today was our last session at King George’s Pavilion before the summer break, and we finished with The Very Hungry Caterpillar. 🐛

It has been such a lovely term in Sittingbourne, and it has been brilliant watching the little ones grow in confidence with messy play, new textures and being in the class environment.

Thank you so much to everyone who has joined us this term, and to everyone who has followed along too.

We have one more Hungry Caterpillar class tomorrow, and then one final class next week at The Alexander Centre for our postponed Circus Week. There are still a couple of spaces available if you would like to join us.

Thank you again, Sittingbourne. It has been such a pleasure spending the term with you all. 💛
