Thankyou to everyone who came to our Christmas morning! It was lovely to have the parents visit and gave the children an opportunity to show you what we get up to at nursery! We also want to say a big thankyou to Andrej for being the best Santa and making the morning extra special! 🎅🏻🎅🏻🎅🏻

🎄FESTIVE FUN🎄

We have been getting into the Christmas spirit with lots of festive activities! Babies have enjoyed making melted snowman pictures and exploring the reindeer tuff tray. Todd’s have made some winter art and been investigating ice! Preschool have explored the reindeer soup and been busy making snowflakes ❄️

We can’t wait to see you all at our Christmas morning tomorrow and have a special visit from Santa🎅🏻

This week the Preschoolers and Todd’s have been exploring changes in the weather! They loved investigating the water that had frozen overnight in our tuff tray, as well as creating patterns in the paint from the rain!

🌟 We are recruiting! 🌟

Safehands are looking for a warm, bubbly person to join our team. This is a hybrid role for a nursery practitioner/cook!

Duties will include:

~ Preparing a nutritious lunch for children on a daily basis, following a set menu
~ Carrying out and recording health and safety checks
~ Delivering exciting and engaging learning opportunities for the children

Schedule: Monday to Friday - 30 hours
Salary: £10.42

🎆 BONFIRE NIGHT AND DIWALI 🪔

The preschoolers have created some amazing firework art by blowing paint with straws! They also made a huge firework display by flicking paint and glitter on a sheet

At the beginning of the week, they learnt about Diwali. They made Rangoli paper plate patterns and special candle holders. They also learnt about Henna and how it’s a symbol of Good Luck🌟
