Funny how quickly six weeks can disappear... 🏖️

You're sitting on the beach and the kids are in and out of the sea, there's sand absolutely everywhere, someone's asking for another ice cream... and September feels a million miles away. And that's exactly how the summer holidays should feel. ☀️

💙 Mum... Dad... can I tell you something?

Sometimes I pretend I'm okay.
When you ask how school was, I just say, "Fine."

But sometimes I'm worried that everyone else understands things better than I do. Sometimes I don't put my hand up because I'm scared I'll get the answer wrong. Sometimes I look at my school report and wonder if I'll ever get better at the things it says I need to improve.

I don't need someone to do the work for me... I just need someone to help me understand it. Someone who's patient….
