A great day out with lots of activities to show what all our emergency services do on a daily basis. 🚒🚑🚓🚨🚔🚁🛟
ANNUAL OPEN DAY: Its just over a week until our annual open day. This is held by South Yorkshire Police & South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Joint Community Safety Department.
The annual event will be held at Lifewise Centre Hellaby Rotherham S66 8LB our purpose built fully interactive set , which is just off Junction 1 of the M18, and easily accessible by various bus services. On Thursday 6th August 2026
We will have lots of free child friendly activities on the day including, crafting stations, uniform try on and finger printing plus lots of other things to see and do. There is lots of great advice for our older visitors and lots of partners attending including:
South Yorkshire Safer Roads, Bluebell wood, Sheffield Children's Hospital, Yorkshire Air Ambulance, Victim Support, With Me in Mind, REMIDI, Cranstoun, RDASH Adult Support, Red Cross, TSB, PS Homeless Charity, Andy's Man Club, Help for Heroes, Citizens Advice. Emergency Services Museum, White Knight Blood Bikes plus Police & Fire vehicles.
It’s really a day any age can enjoy and learn something new, it’s not an event exclusively for children.
The event is free to attend and open to all ages. Cash will be required to purchase refreshments on the day, if required and all profits are donated to charity.
The day will start at 1000 and end at 1500.
There is no car parking on site, the Lifewise car park will be closed for the event.
