Students at New Dinnington Sixth Form are celebrating a fantastic year of academic success, with the sixth form achieving its best ever A Level results and continuing its impressive upward trajectory since joining New Collaborative Learning Trust (NCLT). 🌟
This year, the sixth form has broken its own record for A Level achievement, delivering year-on-year improvement and enabling students to progress to their chosen university courses, apprenticeships and employment opportunities.
A Level students achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate, with 57% of grades awarded at A-B* and 29% of students achieving the highest grades of A-A*. On average, students attained a grade B, significantly outperforming national results and matching the attainment achieved by the highest-performing sixth form college within the Trust.
Students studying Applied General qualifications also achieved positive outcomes, with a 98% pass rate and 49% of grades awarded at Distinction or Distinction*.
These results continue the strong momentum seen since New Dinnington Sixth Form joined NCLT and demonstrate the impact of high expectations, dedicated teaching and targeted support for students.
These figures may improve slightly as exam boards process requests for reviews and remarks.
