TEAM UPDATE đź’«

After some time away recovering from her Achilles injury, Emma wont be returning to teaching. We’re so grateful for everything Emma brought to the studio and wish her nothing but the best with her recovery and what comes next!

Holly is also taking a break from teaching while she focuses on her other commitments. A huge thank you to Holly for everything she’s brought to BED so far!

That means our instructor team is now a fabulous four! Hana, Steph, Becky & Niki, and between us, we’ve got you covered!

You’ll still see our Friday 5:30pm & 6:30pm and Saturday 9:30am & 10:30am classes on the timetable, with these sessions being covered by the instructor team.

A slightly smaller team, the same studio, the same energy… and plenty of BED to go around 🩷

And eventually those shakes become strength đź’«

Not perfect.
Not easy.
Just consistent.

And suddenly…
you’re doing things you never thought you could. 💫

The workout might be done…but don’t skip the stretch!

Post-class stretching helps to:
• Release tight, worked muscles
• Improve flexibility & mobility
“ Ease muscle tension
• Encourage better range of movement
• Bring your body back down after class

All the work in class, deserves a few minutes of recovery. Stretch. Breathe. Reset. đź’«

CONCENTRATION & CONTROL.

2 of the 6 principles of Pilates.

Moving with purpose.
Controlling every rep.
Getting stronger every class.

And the best bit?

Seeing our attendees love it as much as we love teaching it đź’«

Brace face, lock it in! IYKYK 🌶️

…suddenly everyone’s definition of tiny is VERY different and that’s not a bad thing.

Triceps working.
Obliques firing.
Pulse range… questionable to start with.

But this is where the magic happens! Rep by rep. Class by class. Strength builds. Control improves.
And those pulses get a little less questionable.

Trust the process!

Lying on the box, neck unsupported, lighter springs AND jumping away from the board with a twist… this one asks a LOT from your core.

With less support from the box, your abdominals have to work harder to stabilise the body, while the rotation brings those obliques firmly into play.

It might feel challenging now, but building that deep core strength means less temptation to pull through the neck as you get stronger.

Challenging? Absolutely. Effective? VERY - we’ve loved hearing how much stronger you already feel in your core within only a few sessions! 💫

Exercise to music means moving together, finding the beat and hopefully hitting that gorgeous unison we instructors LOVE to see…

But as instructors, there’s something we love seeing even more…

YOUR progress. đź’«

We’d much rather see you working at your own pace, concentrating on your form, choosing the right option for your body and getting stronger week after week than worrying about being perfectly in sync.

Hit the beat when you can.
Miss it when you need to.
Take the option. Slow it down. Find your control.

Because while synchronicity looks amazing on a reel…
watching your strength, confidence and ability grow in class is what makes us proudest as instructors.

A serious lower body burner that challenges strength, stability, control AND balance, all while that carriage is reminding you it has a mind of its own.

The box may be new… but the burn is very, very real 💫

And the best bit? Every week we repeat it, we get stronger, steadier and more confident.

Foot in the stirrup. Box in place. Donkey kicks into leg extensions… and suddenly everything gets VERY real.

There’s no hiding that this is one of the most technically challenging tracks in our new drop, it asks for strength, stability, control and confidence all at once.

But here’s the important bit: you’re not supposed to nail it straight away.

Consistency builds strength.
Consistency builds control.
Consistency builds confidence.

Every time you come back to this track, your body learns a little more and gets a little stronger. What feels wobbly and unfamiliar today can feel completely different in a few weeks.

Don’t chase perfect. Chase progress.

Keep showing up, BED-ers. We’re already seeing that confidence grow. 💫
