Summer Concert

What a wonderful concert! Thank you to our amazing children who sang and danced beautifully. They were fantastic and we all had a lovely time. A special thanks to all of our wonderful staff, volunteers and parents.
The fantastic local church in South Moreton was a great location and it was so nice to be able to sing in such a lovely heritage building.

Sports Day at South Moreton Preschool!
What a wonderful morning for our children and families, who had a fantastic time participating in our sports day. The weather was cool, and the shade was lovely as the children joined in with a running race, bean bag race, egg and spoon race and bunny hop race. We even had a mums and dads race which were loved by the kids too!

Thank you so much to all of the staff, parents and volunteers to help make this happen, especially in this heat!

The children celebrated with medals and a lovely cold drink 😀

Flower Festival Art

Here is our beautiful artwork for South Moreton flower festival just gone. The children did an amazing job, their art pieces looked fabulous. Thanks so much to all of the children and staff ❤️

Come and celebrate South Moreton's Church with the amazing flower festival!

Last week was all about spring! We learnt about St Patrick’s Day and went on imaginary journey to Ireland to find out about this celebration. We also got messy and made our own shamrocks craft. Our special snack was hummus with veggies we made ourselves.
On Thursday, we helped one of our children to celebrate Nowruz, the Persian New Year and the beginning of spring! We also started a planting season! We got some sunflower seeds and pots and we all enjoyed planting. We hope they will grow into huge sunflowers 🌻
Next week will be the last week of this term and we will focus on spring and Easter 🐣 We are very excited to see our children’s lovely Easter bonnets they made at home for our Easter Bonnet Parade 😊

Happy Mother’s Day from everyone at South Moreton Preschool! 💐😊

Our two main events last week were a visit from the dental nurse, who taught us about about oral hygiene and healthy eating, and World Book Day. Everyone enjoyed showing and sharing their favourite storybooks brought from home and spending a day in reading. We also enjoyed our woodland walk and the quest to find the first signs of spring. Baking some tasty jam tarts were a good fun too 😄
