What an incredible morning it has been!

Yesterday, our Year 12 students took part in an engaging Employability Skills Day, supported by our Digital Futures Programme partners and a range of fantastic companies.

Students built valuable real-world skills through:

✅ Interview skills sessions
✅ Mock interviews with industry professionals

Today has been a wonderfully busy and vibrant day at UTC Oxfordshire! Our Year 11 leavers made the most of their final day, celebrating together with music, football, a delicious cake sale, and plenty of laughter and fun in the sunshine 🌞

It was a joy to see such a fantastic send-off. Meanwhile, our hardworking Year 10 students rose the challenge, putting in an incredible effort to build impressive 3D models for the Martian Gateway Project Competition. 👏

🔧VEX Robotics kits👾

On Monday 11 May, UTC Oxfordshire welcomed Year 5 students from Stephen Freeman Primary School in Didcot for an engaging afternoon designed to support their space topic using our VEX robotics kits.

The session was made even more special by the support of our Year 10 and Year 12 students, who confidently guided the younger pupils, helping them feel at ease and ensuring they had a fun and memorable experience exploring the technology.

It was fantastic to see such positive interaction between the students, and we are incredibly proud to have run this workshop for the fifth consecutive year—roll on next year!😊⭐👌

🥳Year 11 Prom Fundraiser Success!🥳

Today we held a fantastic bake sale and tuck shop to raise funds for the Year 11 Prom on the 25 June - and what a success it was!🧁🍰🥮

A huge thank you to all the students who baked such delicious cakes and cupcakes- they sold out in no time! And we are pretty sure they were quickly burned off on the football field too!⚽️😅

Don't forget: Prom tickets are available via Parent Pay only, £30 per ticket (no plus ones), deadline for payment: 4 June

Congratulations to Golan B, Lea T, Arthur M, and Henrique on their outstanding achievements in the UK Chemistry Olympiad, hosted by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

The UK Chemistry Olympiad is a highly respected competition that challenges students to apply their chemistry knowledge creatively and solve complex problems at an advanced level.
