Didcot Primary Academy

The House Captains have been busy raising funds all year for charities and for something to leave behind for future years.

Today we have brought 2 solar powered, camera operated bird boxes that will be put up in the school grounds. Hopefully we will have some birds nest and each class will be able to watch from an app on their class Ipad.

50p per ice pop!

All monies raised will go towards two charities – Homeless Oxford and SNAP and a gift from Year 6 to the school when they leave.

Swimming Gala 2026.
Well done to our amazing DPA Swimming Team who came 4th out of 8 teams last week. They did incredibly well considering there was no time for practice, we are so proud of you.

Year 6 have had a tremendous year so far....

Day 3 - PGL

Day 3 - PGL
Our fantastic Year 4 are having an amazing time at PGL Liddington. After a big breakfast and packing up their suitcases, they are enjoying their first activities in the glorious sunshine.
Yesterday evening was spent singing songs around the campfire and enjoying a hot chocolate with toasted marshmallows. We cant wait to hear all about your adventures.

With full tummies and lots of enthusiasm, our Year 4 children are ready for a busy day ahead.
First activities of the day are orienteering, fencing and raft building. Its another beautiful sunny day and we are so proud of the children for their team work and determination. Keep being amazing.
